Create a client testimonial graphic

Turn a saved testimonial into a post — including the permission step most templates skip.

Short answer

Choose Client Testimonial, pick a saved testimonial, and choose Circle Portrait or Cutout Portrait. Only testimonials you have confirmed permission for can be used, because a graphic is a publication.

A testimonial graphic is the highest-performing post most agents make, and the one with the most obvious way to get it wrong: publishing somebody's words without asking.

Create one

  1. Make sure the testimonial is saved and its permission is confirmed. See Confirm permission and show a testimonial publicly.
  2. Open the Content tab and choose Share Graphics.
  3. Choose Client Testimonial.
  4. Select the testimonial.
  5. Choose Circle Portrait or Cutout Portrait.
  6. Choose a size.
  7. Download.

Permission comes first

Putting a client's words on a graphic and posting it is publishing them, in exactly the sense the permission statement covers. CardCloser will not offer a testimonial as a source until you have confirmed you have permission for it.

Ask about the graphic specifically. Somebody who agreed to a quote on your website may feel differently about it being posted to social media with their name on it. It is one extra sentence to ask, and it costs nothing.

Two layouts, and no more

Client Testimonial offers Circle Portrait and Cutout Portrait. There is no layout without a photo of you, and there is no multi-testimonial layout — a graphic carrying three quotes is unreadable in a feed.

  • Circle Portrait — your headshot in a circle beside the quote.
  • Cutout Portrait — a cut-out of you against the design.

There is no star rating and no platform badge on these graphics. CardCloser does not average or verify reviews, so it will not display a symbol that implies it did.

If this doesn't work

The testimonial is not offered as a source.
Permission has not been confirmed, or the testimonial is not saved.
The quote is cut off.
The layouts fit text automatically, but a very long testimonial has to be shortened. Trim it in the Reviews panel — honestly, and reconfirm permission.
You want to show the star rating from Google.
That is not available. CardCloser does not sync Google reviews yet — see Google reviews: current availability.
