Google reviews: current availability

Not available yet. Here is exactly what that means and what is planned.

Short answer

CardCloser cannot display your Google reviews today. The Portal shows Google as Coming Soon. When it arrives it will use the official Google Business Profile API — CardCloser will never scrape Search, Maps or profile pages.

The honest answer is short: not yet. This article exists so you are not left guessing, and so you know what to do in the meantime.

What is true today

  • CardCloser cannot display your Google reviews.
  • There is no Google connection to set up.
  • The Reviews panel in your Profile tab labels Google as Coming Soon.
  • Nothing in CardCloser will show a Google star rating, review count or review text.

How it will work when it exists

Through the official Google Business Profile API, with your authorisation. That matters for a specific reason: it is the only route that is both permitted and reliable.

CardCloser will never scrape Google. Pulling reviews out of Search results, Maps or a profile page breaks Google's terms and produces data that silently rots. If CardCloser cannot get your reviews properly, it will not get them at all.

What to do now

  1. Keep asking clients for Google reviews. They are valuable where they are, independent of CardCloser.
  2. Add your strongest ones as client testimonials — by asking the client directly for permission, in their own words.
  3. Add a link to your Google Business Profile in Social Links so visitors can check for themselves.

Is there a date?

No. CardCloser does not publish dates for features that are not built, because a date given in good faith and missed is worse than no date.

Will it cost extra?

There is no separate charge planned. Everything in CardCloser is included in your access.

Can I be told when it launches?

Yes — What's New in the Help Center carries every genuine product update, and you can tell us this matters to you through Share feedback.

Can I paste a Google review in as a testimonial?

It is a text field, so nothing stops you. But it is a separate publication with its own permission question, and Google's terms govern reproducing their content. Asking the client directly is cleaner.

Tell us it matters

If Google reviews are the reason you would or would not use CardCloser, that is genuinely useful to know. Say so through Share feedback — feature requests with a reason attached are the ones that move.
