Add a client testimonial

A testimonial is the single most persuasive thing you can put on your profile, and it takes about a minute to add one you already have.

Add one

1. Open the Profile tab and expand the Reviews panel.
2. Add a client testimonial.
3. Enter the client's display name — how you want them credited.
4. Paste or type their words.
5. Confirm you have their permission to publish it.
6. Save.

Limits

Five is deliberate. A wall of twenty testimonials is read as decoration; five strong ones are read.

Choosing the words

• Use what the client actually wrote. A polished paraphrase reads like marketing because it is.
• Specific beats effusive. "Sold in six days over asking" outperforms "absolutely wonderful to work with".
• Trim rather than rewrite. Cutting a long email down to its two best sentences is honest; adding sentences is not.
• Credit them as they are comfortable being credited — a first name and an initial is common and completely acceptable.

If this doesn't work

You cannot add a sixth.

Five is the limit. Remove one you have outgrown — a testimonial from four years ago is usually the one to drop.

The text will not save.

It is under 10 characters or over 500. The field tells you which.

The testimonial does not appear publicly.

Either permission has not been confirmed, or the Reviews section is switched off. Both are covered in the permission article.
