Edit or delete a client testimonial
Change the wording, reorder them, or remove one entirely.
Short answer
Open the Reviews panel in Profile, then edit, reorder or remove any testimonial. Editing the name or the words asks you to confirm permission again. Deleting removes it from your public profile immediately on save.
Testimonials are not permanent. You can tidy the wording, change the order, or remove one — and you should remove one the moment a client asks you to.
Edit a testimonial
- Open the Profile tab and expand the Reviews panel.
- Open the testimonial you want to change.
- Edit the display name or the text.
- Confirm the permission statement again — changed content needs current permission.
- Save.
Reorder them
Use the move controls beside each testimonial. The first one is the one most visitors read, so put your strongest there. Reordering does not affect permission.
Delete one
- Open the Reviews panel.
- Remove the testimonial.
- Save.
Once saved, it is gone from your public profile. If your profile is published, the public page refreshes within the hour, or immediately if you republish.
If a client withdraws permission, delete it that day. Hiding the Reviews section is not the same thing — the testimonial still exists. Remove the record.
Editing honestly
- Fixing a typo or trimming a long quote is fine.
- Adding a claim the client did not make is not, however flattering it sounds.
- If you change the meaning, you no longer have permission for what you are publishing — which is precisely why the confirmation is asked again.
If this doesn't work
- The testimonial reappears after you delete it.
- The delete was not saved. Reopen the panel, remove it and save. See My changes did not save.
- You cannot save an edit.
- Permission has not been reconfirmed, or the text is now under 10 or over 500 characters.
- A deleted testimonial is still on a graphic you posted.
- Downloaded graphics are files you already have. Deleting the source record does not reach a file on your phone or a post already published — remove the post if the client asked you to.
