Getting started

Create your account and confirm your email

Sign up, confirm your email address, and get into the Agent Portal.

Short answer

Sign up with your email address and a password, then open the confirmation email CardCloser sends and follow the link in it. Confirming proves the address is yours; until you do, you cannot sign in.

Creating a CardCloser account takes about a minute. Confirming your email address is the step people miss, so it is worth knowing what to expect.

Create the account

  1. Go to the CardCloser homepage and choose Start Free Year.
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  3. Accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. You are shown the current versions and your acceptance is recorded against your account.
  4. Submit the form. CardCloser sends a confirmation email to the address you entered.

Confirm your email

  1. Open the email from CardCloser. The subject line refers to confirming your address.
  2. Follow the confirmation link in it.
  3. You are returned to CardCloser and signed in.

Confirmation matters because your email address is how you sign in, how you recover your password, and how CardCloser reaches you about your account. Until it is confirmed, the address is unproven and sign-in will not complete.

If the email doesn't arrive

It is in spam or promotions.
Check your spam, junk and promotions folders, and search your mailbox for "CardCloser". Confirmation email is the message most likely to be filtered, because it is the first one you have ever received from us.
The address had a typo.
Sign up again with the correct address. An unconfirmed account with a wrong address is not usable and does not block the correct one.
Your brokerage mail server is strict.
Try a personal address. Some brokerage systems quarantine mail from senders they have not seen before, and you will not always be told.
It has been more than a few minutes.
Start the signup again from the same address — this re-sends the confirmation rather than creating a second account.

Passwords

Choose a password you do not use anywhere else. If you forget it, use the Forgot password link on the sign-in screen; the reset link goes to your confirmed email address.

CardCloser will never ask for your password. Nobody from CardCloser will ask you to send a password, a reset code or a confirmation link. If something asks you to, it is not us.
