Find and download your graphics
Where downloads go, what the Media Library holds, and what Saved Campaigns is for.
Short answer
A graphic downloads to your device as a PNG when you choose Download. The Media Library in the Content tab holds the photos and imagery available for your content; Saved Campaigns holds work you set aside to come back to.
The Content tab has three parts, and knowing which does what saves a lot of hunting.
The three parts of Content
Content sub-tabs
| Sub-tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Share Graphics | The creator — where you make a graphic |
| Media Library | The photos and imagery available for your content |
| Saved Campaigns | Work you set aside to come back to |
Downloading a graphic
- Finish the graphic in the Share Graphics creator.
- Choose Download.
- The PNG saves to your device.
Where it lands depends on your device, not on CardCloser: a desktop browser puts it in your Downloads folder; a phone usually puts it in your photo library or a Downloads area.
On a phone
- On iPhone, the file usually appears in Files under Downloads, and can be saved to Photos from there.
- On Android, check your Downloads and your gallery.
- If nothing appears, your browser may be blocking the download — see the troubleshooting below.
Downloaded graphics are yours to keep. They are ordinary image files. They keep working whatever happens to your CardCloser account afterwards.
What the Media Library is not
The Media Library holds photos and imagery you can use in content. It is not an archive of every graphic you have ever generated — a generated graphic is downloaded to you rather than stored on your behalf.
If you want a graphic again, generate it again. Because it comes from a saved record, it will come out the same.
If this doesn't work
- Nothing happens when you choose Download.
- See My share graphic will not generate or download.
- You cannot find the file afterwards.
- Search your device for a recent PNG. The filename includes the size, for example square-post-1080x1080.
- Download is unavailable.
- New share graphics need an active CardCloser. If your free year has ended, see What happens when your free year ends.
