Add a Meet Me photo and profile video thumbnail

Your headshot proves you are a professional. A second image proves you are a person. They live in different places because they do different jobs.

The Meet Me photo

1. Open the Profile tab and expand the About panel.
2. Scroll to the Meet Me Photo control, below your writing.
3. Upload a second professional or lifestyle image — working in a home, out in your market, or a relaxed portrait.
4. Save.

It appears beside your story in the About section. It sits with your writing on purpose: a photo of you at work and a paragraph about how you work reinforce each other.

The profile video thumbnail

1. Open the Profile tab and expand the Media panel.
2. Find the Profile Video Thumbnail control.
3. Upload the still image you want shown before the video plays.
4. Save.

Helpful tips

• Do not use a second headshot for Meet Me. If both images are you against a wall, the second one adds nothing.
• A photo with context — a kitchen, a street you know, a sign in a yard — does more work than a better-lit portrait.
• For a video thumbnail, choose a frame where you are looking at the camera. A mid-blink frame is the one thing worse than no thumbnail.

If this doesn't work

You cannot find the Meet Me Photo control.

It is inside the About panel, below the three writing fields. It used to live in Brand; if you remember it there, that is why.

The image uploads but does not appear publicly.

Check that the About section is switched on in Profile Sections, and that you saved.

The upload is rejected.
