Add and manage a property or listing

A property record is the thing every other listing feature reads from. Create it once and your public profile, your Share Graphics and your status updates all work from the same record.

Add a property

1. Open the Listings tab in the Agent Portal.
2. Add a property.
3. Enter the address.
4. Choose the status: Coming Soon, Active, Under Contract or Closed.
5. Add photos. The first one is the one CardCloser leads with.
6. Save.

The four statuses

Changing the status is one control. You do not create a new record for each stage — the same property moves through them, which is why the address stays consistent across every graphic you post about it.

Helpful tips

• Add the property when you take the listing, not when you post about it. A record that already exists turns a Just Listed graphic into a thirty-second job.
• Use a wide exterior shot as the first photo. CardCloser crops for the architecture, and a close-up of a kitchen tap gives it nothing to work with.
• Update the status the day it changes. A profile still showing Active on a home that closed in March is the one detail a prospective seller will notice.

If this doesn't work

The property saved but no photos appear.

Photo uploads and the record save are separate steps. Reopen the property and check the photos are attached, then save again.

You cannot find a property you added.

Check whether it is Closed — closed properties are still in the list, and the list may be filtered.

The address will not accept your entry.

Enter it as you would write it on a postcard. CardCloser does not validate against a postal database, so unusual formats are fine, but an empty street line is not.
