Add social links and contact information

Phone, email, office, booking link and social profiles — and which of them clients can see.

Short answer

Contact & Booking holds your phone, public email, office and booking link; Social Links holds your social profiles. At least one public contact method — phone or public email — is required before you can publish.

Contact and booking

  1. Open the Profile tab and expand Contact & Booking.
  2. Add a Phone number, a Public email, or both. At least one is required to publish.
  3. Optionally add your Office name and Office address. The map link on your profile is generated from the address.
  4. Optionally add a Booking link — for example a Calendly URL — and use the Show on profile switch to decide whether Book buttons appear.
  5. Save.

Book buttons only appear when the link works. If Show on profile is on but the booking link is empty or invalid, CardCloser hides the Book buttons rather than publishing a dead one, and tells you so while you are editing.

  1. Expand the Social Links panel.
  2. Add the profiles you actually maintain.
  3. Save.

Add the accounts you post to. A dormant profile from four years ago is a worse signal than no link at all, and a visitor who clicks one will form an opinion either way.

What is public and what is not

  • Your public email is exactly that — public. If you would rather not publish an address, use a phone number instead and leave the email field empty.
  • Your account sign-in email is separate and is never shown on your profile.
  • Your office address generates a map link. Leave it blank if you work from home and would rather not publish a location.

If this doesn't work

The phone field shows an error.
CardCloser expects a ten-digit number. Extensions and country prefixes are not accepted in this field.
The booking link shows an error.
Enter the full URL of your booking page. If it works when you paste it into a browser address bar, it will work here.
Book buttons still do not appear.
Check that Show on profile is switched on and the link is valid. Both are required.
