Add and edit your professional information
Your name, title, brokerage, licence and years licensed — where they live and which ones are required.
Short answer
Open the Profile tab and expand the Basics panel. Your full name and professional title are required before you can publish; brokerage, licence state, licence number and years licensed are optional. Save when you are done.
Everything a visitor reads about you starts in the Profile tab. The Basics panel is the first one, and it holds your identity.
Edit your basics
- Open the Profile tab in the Agent Portal.
- Expand the Basics panel.
- Enter your Full name. CardCloser needs a first and a last name.
- Enter your Professional title — for example Broker Associate, or REALTOR®.
- Optionally add your Brokerage, License state, License number and Years licensed.
- Save.
What is required and what is not
Basics fields
| Field | Required to publish |
|---|---|
| Full name | Yes — first and last |
| Professional title | Yes |
| Brokerage | No |
| License state | No |
| License number | No |
| Years licensed | No |
Required fields carry a marker in the Portal, and the marker comes from the same check that decides whether you can publish — so what the form says and what the publish control does can never disagree.
Helpful tips
- Use the name clients would search for, not a legal variant they would not recognise.
- Many states require a licence number in advertising. CardCloser does not enforce any particular state's rule, so check your own — the fields are there when you need them.
- Years licensed is a small credibility signal that costs one number.
Where is my professional photo?
Your professional photo can be added in two places, and they are the same photo: the Basics panel at the top of Profile, and the Brand Studio in the Brand tab.
Add your professional photo covers framing, file types and what to do if it will not upload.
If this doesn't work
- You saved but the page still shows the old text.
- Reload. If it reverts again, see My changes did not save — there are a few specific causes and each has a fix.
- The publish control is still disabled.
- Basics is only part of it. Why your profile is not public lists everything CardCloser checks.
