Choose Results-section and Top Card highlights

Pick up to four results for the section, and up to two for your card.

Short answer

In the Profile tab, the Results panel lets you choose which figures appear where: up to four in the public Results section, and up to two on your profile card. The values themselves live in Production; this is only the selection.

There are two places a number can appear, they hold different amounts, and choosing well matters more than having many figures.

The two places

Choose them

  1. Open the Profile tab and expand the Results panel.
  2. Select up to four results for the Results section.
  3. Select up to two of them for your profile card.
  4. Drag to set the order. The first one is the one people read.
  5. Save.
  6. Preview to see the result.

Choosing well

  • Put your single strongest figure first on the card. Somebody scanning on a phone reads one number.
  • Do not repeat the same figure on the card and in the section. CardCloser will let you, but it reads as thin.
  • Prefer a figure that says something. "142 career sides" is concrete; "top producer" is not a number at all.
  • Two on the card is a maximum, not a target. One excellent figure often beats two mediocre ones.
Why the caps exist

A card with five numbers on it communicates nothing, because a reader has to choose which to care about and will choose none.

Four in the Results section is enough to be substantive and few enough to be read. Beyond that, a visitor scrolls past the whole block.

If this doesn't work

A figure is not offered as a choice.
It has no value yet. Enter it in the Production tab first — the selector only offers figures CardCloser actually knows.
You cannot select a fifth result.
Four is the cap for the section. Deselect one to add another.
The card shows a figure you did not choose.
An account that has never made a selection keeps the classic default set. Make a selection and save, and yours takes over.
