Choose the How I Help services that appear publicly
The difference between a service being on and a service being featured.
Short answer
A service has two states. Switched on means CardCloser knows you offer it. Featured means it appears on your public profile. Only featured services are shown, and only four per side.
This is the most common How I Help question, and the answer is one distinction.
On, and featured
The two states
| State | Meaning | Appears publicly |
|---|---|---|
| Off | You do not offer it | No |
| On | You offer it | No |
| On and featured | You offer it and want it seen | Yes, up to four per side |
Having every service switched on is fine — it costs nothing and reflects reality. Featuring every service is not possible, and would not help if it were.
Change what is featured
- Open the Profile tab and expand How I Help.
- Open the Buyer card or the Seller card.
- Feature the services you want shown, up to four.
- Order them.
- Save and preview.
Choosing four
- Lead with what makes you different, not what every agent does. "Shows homes" is not a differentiator.
- Match the audience. A first-time buyer cares about a different four than an investor.
- If you only genuinely differentiate on two, feature two. An honest short list reads better than a padded long one.
Buyers always appear before sellers. The order of the two cards is fixed. What you control is which services are inside each one, and in what order.
If this doesn't work
- A featured service is not on the public page.
- It must be switched on as well as featured. A featured-but-off service is a contradiction CardCloser resolves by showing nothing.
- The whole section is missing.
- Either no service is featured on either side, or the section is switched off in Profile Sections.
- On mobile only some services show.
- The mobile layout shows fewer per side so the cards stay readable. Order matters more on a phone than anywhere else.
