Publish, unpublish or republish your CardCloser

Go public, take it private, and bring it back — none of it loses anything.

Short answer

Choose Publish My CardCloser once the five required items are complete. To take it private, use Unpublish My CardCloser in the Account tab under Privacy & data. Publishing again restores exactly what was there.

Publishing is a switch, not a commitment. Everything you build stays yours whether the page is public or not.

Publish

  1. Complete the five required items: name, professional title, primary market, one public contact method, and your professional photo.
  2. Preview your profile.
  3. Choose Publish My CardCloser.

Your profile becomes visible at your CardCloser link immediately.

Unpublish

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Find the Privacy & data section.
  3. Choose Unpublish My CardCloser.
  4. Confirm.

Your profile stops being visible. Your account, your content and your link are all unaffected — a visitor simply gets a not-found page.

Republish

Publish again from the Portal. Everything comes back as it was, including your photos and your link.

Unpublishing is not deleting. Nothing is removed. If you want your account closed, that is a separate control in the same section — see Cancel a paid subscription or delete your account.

What a visitor sees when you are unpublished

A plain not-found page. It does not say "this agent unpublished their profile", and that is deliberate: an unpublished profile, a retired address and an address that never existed all look the same.

The alternative would turn your link into a way for anybody to find out which addresses are taken and which agents have gone quiet.

If this doesn't work

The publish control is disabled.
Something required is missing, or your access has ended. Why your profile is not public lists every cause.
You published but the link shows nothing.
Give it a moment and reload. The public page is served from a cache that refreshes quickly.
A change you made is not on the live page.
Save first. The live page shows saved, published content.
